How much of your network work can be automated? The three-minute interactive demo walks through network visibility, configuration management, network operations, and the Validated Network Report feature. Take the demo to see Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform in action, then connect with Brightzone International LLC for guidance on applying network automation across your environment.
What is shown in the Network Automation Demo?
The Network Automation Demo is designed to show how common network operations tasks can be automated end-to-end. It typically focuses on:
- Configuration management – pushing consistent configs, updating policies, and reducing manual CLI work.
- Change automation – planning, executing, and validating network changes with repeatable workflows.
- Monitoring and verification – checking that the network is behaving as intended after changes.
- Integration with existing tools – using APIs and scripts to connect with ITSM, monitoring, or CI/CD systems.
The goal is to show how teams can rethink day-to-day network operations by moving from manual tasks to automated, policy-driven workflows.
How can network automation impact daily operations?
The kind of automation highlighted in the Network Automation Demo is meant to reshape routine network work rather than replace engineers. In daily operations, this typically means:
- Fewer manual changes – repetitive tasks (like adding VLANs or updating ACLs) are handled by workflows or templates.
- More consistent configurations – standardized policies reduce configuration drift and human error.
- Faster change windows – changes that used to take hours of manual effort can be executed and validated in minutes.
- Better use of engineering time – engineers can focus on design, optimization, and troubleshooting complex issues instead of routine updates.
Many teams use demos like this as a starting point to reimagine their change processes, moving toward more predictable and auditable operations.
Who benefits most from the Network Automation Demo?
The Network Automation Demo is most useful for:
- Network engineers and architects – to see how common tasks can be automated and how policies can be modeled.
- IT operations and NOC teams – to understand how automation can help with incident response, rollbacks, and verification.
- IT leaders and managers – to evaluate how automation can affect cost, risk, and team productivity.
When watching the demo, these stakeholders typically focus on:
- How easy it is to define and reuse workflows.
- What level of visibility and reporting they get before and after changes.
- How the automation integrates with their existing tools and processes.
Overall, the demo is a way for teams to rethink how they plan, execute, and validate network changes before committing to a broader automation initiative.
